macOS installation

1. Download the Add-in

Click the download button, unzip and double click the Install DeckyAI.pkg file in your downloads folder.

2. Open in PowerPoint

Close PowerPoint if currently open and reopen for Decky AI to be loaded into the PowerPoint add-ins.

Open your PowerPoint presentation and click on add-ins in the top navigation bar to find Decky AI.

Windows installation

1. Download the Decky Manifest

Click the download button and unzip the add-in manifest.

2. Upload in the Microsoft Admin Center

The windows installation of the Decky AI add-in needs to be done via the Microsoft Admin center.

Therefore, go to the Admin center via https://aka.ms/mac365 and login with the same account which you also use for your Microsoft 365 Office products like PowerPoint.

⚠️ Admin rights required: You need administrator rights for managing add-ins. If you don't have the rights, ask your admin to upload the deckyai.manifest.xml which you downloaded above.

In the "Integrated apps" tab under "Settings", you see your currently deployed apps and add-ins. Click the "Upload custom apps" button.

Now, select "Office Add-in" in the dropdown menu and upload the unzipped deckyai.manifest.xml.

Click on next and select the scope of who should have access to the add-in: Just you, entire organization, or a selected set of users.

Afterwards accept the permissions request for decky and deploy the add-in.

3. Open Decky AI in PowerPoint

Close PowerPoint if currently open and reopen for Decky AI to be loaded into the PowerPoint add-ins.

Open your PowerPoint presentation and click on add-ins in the top navigation bar to find Decky AI.

Will Decky AI be trained on your slides or client data?

No. Decky AI is never trained on your slides, documents, or any client-related content. Your data is used only to process your request in real time and is never reused or added to model training.

Does Decky AI help with the content or only the formatting?

Beyond layout and design, Decky AI also checks your slide content for logic errors, typos, grammar issues, inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, and enforces style guidelines (e.g. consistent number formats, capitalization, citation style, tone).

How do I pull in data / integrate existing data sources for slides?

Decky AI supports data integration. It can connect to your company’s knowledge sources (files and images) and fetch relevant facts, insights or supporting data for your slides from the web.

Can I generate slides from scratch using Decky AI?

Yes, Decky AI allows slide generation from scratch. You can start with just a topic, a rough outline, a document, or even plain notes, and Decky will generate a fully structured slide deck: with logical flow, headings, visual hierarchy, charts/visuals if needed, and design-ready formatting.
